Wedding Dress Designer/Maker and Seamstress

Wedding dress fitting room flooring design
Holly needed a new fitting room for her brides to be. Initially Holly was looking for something that would compliment the butterflies on her wallpaper when she came across our Paradise Junkie Designs. Paradise Junkies is a unique collaboration between Emily Campbell, Creative Director and Owner of BBF and Lara Skinner of Lima Design https://www.laraskinner.co.uk/about. Emily and Lara were friends at art school and have worked together to create a series of stunning visuals that combine the photographic with delicate illustration. Holly needed a design that was romantic and also showed off her wedding dresses.

The circular imagery in the centre of the design creates a perfect frame for the train of the wedding dresses, whilst the subtle blues and pink fashion a contrasting backdrop for the white lace.

A-MA-ZING! I never knew it was possible to fall in love with a floor! I’m a dressmaker and was renovating a kitchen into a consultation/fitting room for my couture brand, Wowsers In Your Trousers, and commissioned Emily at Blue Butterfly to custom design the floor. She was endlessly patient, understood my budget and practicality needs as a small, home-based business and was a total joy to work with. Her attention to detail was awesome, considering furniture placement and even incorporating butterflies from my wallpaper in an adjoining room into the design so the design flowed through my house.
